Proofs Doing Their Job
The proofs came in today and overall looked really good. I was sad to see that a few errors still managed to creep in, but that is the reason you get proofs. So one of the tuckbox’s sides were upside down and some cards had the / replaced with a ? from the copy and paste of the text. I thought I had fixed that but seems two cards slipped through. Issues that are super easy to fix but that means I have to wait another two weeks for proofs before I can approve them. I will say it was such a thrill to hold something in my hands that I made and laid out myself. The bleed on the tuckboxes worked perfectly I was worried I didn’t put enough on there but it worked. While I’m waiting on a new round of proofs I’m working on the lineages for the Aetherscape campaign. I have about a third of them left to put in the world setting material but I should have them done by the end of the week. From there I can work on laying those out and determine what else I’d need to add for a setting book. Before I publish that though I’m thinking of building some adventures in the setting to help offer an introduction to the campaign. I’ll have to let that thought noodle around a bit. I think before I can do that I need to finish a few more articles out on World Anvil to make a solid amount of content to inspire creating adventures in the world. I’ll update here in a post of how that process is going and some behind the scenes thoughts.
